Community Outreach

Parish Visitors

Parish Visitors are parish members who visit sick parishioners in their homes, nursing homes or care facilities, bringing prayer and communion to those who are unable to regularly participate in parish life. These volunteers also send greeting cards, provide transportation, respite as possible, and deliver gifts at Christmas and Easter.

If you or someone you know would like to be visited by a Parish Visitor, or you would like to know more about becoming one, contact the parish office.

Hospital Patients

Please contact the rectory at (717) 233-3062 to let us know that you are or will be in the hospital, or ask your family or neighbors to contact us. Father Charles, staff and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion want to visit and pray with and for you, especially while you are unable to join us for Mass. Please inform us so that your parish family may offer their spiritual support to you and your family.

Join us for Mass

The Parish of St. Margaret Mary also provides pastoral care to residents at the Jewish Home, Kindred Place, Manor of Oakridge, Colonial Park Care Center and with monthly celebration of Eucharist as well as regular visits to all residents. Please check the church bulletin for a list of dates and times for Masses at these locations and join us. The residents would love to see you.
